University Of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship Aim and Benefits
This scholarship is available to African students studying in English in one of the designated undergraduate programs in the colleges of Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences.
- This substantial financial commitment to their education lowers their tuition rates by $12,000 to $20,000, depending on the program.
- All students who are qualified for this scholarship will be awarded it automatically upon enrollment. It will be added to their tuition costs directly. This grant cannot be coupled with the Excellence Scholarship for African Students Pursuing English Studies.
Requirements for University Of Ottawa Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
To be eligible for the University of Ottawa Entrance Scholarship African Students Studying in English are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Comply with the program’s entrance criteria;
- Be enrolled full-time in a university undergraduate program for the first time;
- Be a citizen of Africa.
- The required averages for maintaining or renewing a scholarship are rounded to two decimal places. A student with an average of 8.49, for example, would be ineligible for a scholarship that demands an average of 8.50. More information on calculating averages may be found in academic rule 10.2.
- Certain entrance scholarships are not available to mature students or university transfers. Please carefully check the eligibility conditions.
